Extragalactic radio

New Scientist Space just posted an article about the detection of a bizarre extragalactic radio burst that seems to have originated around 1.6 billion light years away. The leading theories as to the cause involve colliding neutron stars or even an evaporating black hole.  In any case, I’d like to get a recording!
