Karlheinz Stockhausen, 1928 – 2007

The (near myth­i­cal) Ger­man com­poser Karl­heinz Stock­hausen passed away today, aged 79. His works had a major influ­ence on innu­mer­able con­tem­po­rary com­posers, myself included.
